Guide du Routard Languedoc Roussillon 2007/2008
"Best not to drink too much Picpoul wine as climbing to bed will be a challenge in this friendly old house which is ideally located in the historical city and which has a steep spiral staircase like a lookout tower. Rooms are simple and clean but the really good surprise is in the food. This young dynamic couple trained with famous chefs and offer a marvellous breakfast. Everything is fresh and home-made (bread, brioche and cakes…) which can only leave you imagining the dinners served for the Table d’hote! Sound advice on wine is Aurélien’s specialism." |

"In the former Jewish Ghetto, Véronique and Aurélien Carron are creating their little paradise from the Cellar to the Attic. A B&B where all is simple but with lots of little things which make the place unique. They dreamed about a wine bar and found Pezenas during their research and stayed. Aurelien has retained from his experience as a Maitre D’Hotel, a passion for wine. In his small cave, he presents wine from twenty five local wine makers and offers food & wine tastings of Languedoc Specialities. Veronique takes care of the Ginger Bread. Cakes & offerings for Breakfast. Their most satisfaction is from being the first B&B for young couples." |

"In the historic heart of the small delightful, and relatively unknown town of Pezenas, opened recently, a few months ago an extra address. Of course, five rooms presents a simple comfortable stay (ask for Picpoul room, it is the best), but for 45, even if the staircase is narrow and the furniture is not the latest style, it is a good deal to stay here for the night. A young couple welcomes you. He is a wine lover, she is a ‘Cordon Bleu’ chef. If you fall in love with their sumptuous breakfasts, they also offer Table D’hote dinners." |
